Job summary

Luxoft in Melbourne seeks a Fixed Income Integration Business Analyst to join a leading Australian financial institution. You will drive configuration of Bond and Repo products, integrate trade flows from upstream interfaces, and manage end-to-end fixed income settlements.

You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, validating data, setups, and trade capture requirements, while coordinating with custodians and external data vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Capital Markets with focus on Fixed Income (Bonds and Repos).
• Understanding of bond products (Fixed/Floating Rate, T-Bills, Zero Coupon, Asset Backed).
• Understanding of repo processing (open vs term repos, rate conventions, haircuts, substitution).
• Knowledge of bond/trade lifecycle pricing, capture, confirmation, settlement.
• Experience with bond static/security master setup from interfaces (Bloomberg/Refinitiv).
• Experience with trade life cycles, workflows, settlements, FIX/JSON/XML messaging integration.
• Understanding of security settlement models, netting, and CSD/custodian interactions.
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT settlement messages (MT 540–548).
• Experience defining interface specifications, data mapping, FIX, API connectivity, file feeds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Business Analyst for Fixed Income integration workstreams (Bond/Repo) on settlement platform.
• Configure and validate Bond static data from external agencies (Bloomberg/Refinitiv).
• Manage integration of Bloomberg TOMS and VCON trade flows; define trade capture requirements and mappings.
• Define requirements for Bloomberg Data License feeds (reference data, pricing, corporate actions).
• Support end-to-end Bond/Repo lifecycle from trade capture to settlement instruction generation.
• Work with external custodians for account setup and end-to-end settlement integration.
• Define and validate SWIFT settlement messaging (Security/Cash).
• Perform gap analysis between current and target-state processes for fixed income trades and settlements.
• Facilitate workshops with Front Office, Operations, and Tech to elicit requirements and validate designs.
• Support UAT and end-to-end testing of trade flows and settlement messages.
