Torus Group is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant (Fixed Assets) to lead the Group's property and fixed asset registers, ensuring robust reporting and strong controls. The role sits in Liverpool, with agile working and some travel, and reports to the Group Financial Accountant.

You will manage acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, component and grant accounting, and support statutory reporting for subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Qualifikationen

• Part-qualified finalist or fully qualified with ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with standards.
• Experience delivering fixed asset accounting for large, complex entities.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and high-quality reporting.

Aufgaben

• Lead accounting and management of the Group's property and fixed asset registers.
• Oversee capital accounting activities: acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, component accounting and grants.
• Produce timely management information to support capital investments.
• Contribute to Group Financial Statements and year-end statutory reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts for subsidiaries and joint ventures.
• Lead on accounting for joint ventures and partnerships.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and strong control environment.
• Provide information to regulators and stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Work with auditors and advisers to deliver high-quality reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of financial systems and controls.
