Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment seeks an experienced accountant to own the end-to-end fixed asset accounting across a multi-site, asset-heavy portfolio. You will manage additions, capitalisation, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring accurate month-end reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with project teams to track capex, improve processes, and strengthen financial controls. This six-month contract offers strong potential to transition to a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed asset accounting and capex accounting.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Ability to improve processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle: additions, capitalisation, transfers, depreciation, disposals.
• Collaborate with property, development and project teams to capitalise expenditures timely.
• Monitor capital expenditure against budgets and resolve variances.
