Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Asset Accountant to own a $600m asset base across a complex infrastructure environment, ensuring the asset register is accurate and fit for purpose.

You will lead a major asset lifecycle project, collaborating with Finance, Engineering and Operations to improve how assets are managed across the business, with high visibility and autonomy alongside senior stakeholders including the ELT and General Managers.

Qualifications

• Strong fixed asset accounting experience.
• Experience in infrastructure or asset-intensive environments is highly regarded.
• Demonstrates understanding of asset registers, capitalisation and depreciation processes.

Responsibilities

• Own a $600m asset base across a complex infrastructure environment to ensure accurate asset registers.
• Lead a major asset lifecycle project in collaboration with Finance, Engineering and Operations.
• Provide high visibility and autonomy as the subject matter expert to senior stakeholders including ELT and General Managers.
