Job summary

Amida Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects for blue-chip clients. You will own projects from pre-construction through completion, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver on time, on budget and to exacting standards.

Ideal candidates have 7–15+ years in commercial fit-out/refurbishment, tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Engineering, and strong stakeholder,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience ideally in commercial fit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, contracts and project documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder, client and subcontractor management skills.
• Commercially focused with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from commencement through to completion.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, procurement and cost control.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, variations and reporting requirements.
• Ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead and mentor project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
