Job summary

Sydney CSA Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior‑Associate Fire Safety Engineer to join our specialist Fire Engineering team in Sydney. The role leads fire safety design and project delivery from concept to commissioning on high‑profile building projects across NSW.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years’ experience, strong modelling skills (FDS, Pathfinder, PyroSim), and Chartered status or eligibility with Engineers Australia; CPEng preferred. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of fire safety engineering experience in building services or consulting (Australia).
• Experience delivering performance-based fire engineering solutions on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of NCC, AS standards and fire dynamics modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire safety strategies and performance solutions per NCC and standards.
• Lead fire safety design from concept to construction and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews.
