Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer in St Leonards, NSW, to lead design and delivery of fire protection systems on diverse projects. You will oversee projects from concept to commissioning, work with clients, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative team.

The role requires extensive design consultancy experience, NCC knowledge, and FPAS readiness. Strong communication and time management will be essential in meeting project milestones and maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Design consultancy experience with fire protection systems.
• Degree qualified with FPAS or FPAS-ready credentials.
• Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initial concept through to installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure successful project delivery.
• Design Fire Protection Services including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, detectors, and extinguishers for complex projects.
