Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Sydney seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex fire protection systems for major projects. You will provide technical guidance across all project phases, review deliverables, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior engineers.

You will work with the Building Services team in our Sydney office, contributing to defence and infrastructure projects and ensuring compliance with NCC, standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Chartered Professional Engineer status or pursuing chartership.
• Experience delivering fire protection solutions for buildings, infrastructure or defence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex fire protection systems across major projects.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for fire services designs, calculations and documentation.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables produced by other team members.
• Act as a key client interface and trusted technical advisor.
• Support bid preparation, business development and project planning activities.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers within the Fire Protection team.
