BSE Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a mid to senior Fire Protection Engineer in Brisbane to deliver comprehensive fire protection design from concept through construction. Join a close-knit multidisciplinary team and contribute to diverse projects across retail, hospitality, commercial and government sectors.

You’ll drive design calculations, client engagement, and coordination with internal teams while mentoring junior engineers and maintaining high standards in fire protection knowledge and BIM

Formación

• 6+ years' experience in Australian building services, ideally in consulting.
• Solid experience delivering wet and dry fire protection projects from concept through to construction completion.
• A tertiary qualification in engineering.
• RPEQ registered or working towards.
• Clear knowledge of NCC, NFPA and Australian Standards for fire systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects and managing client expectations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver detailed fire protection design for wet and dry systems.
• Work across all project phases from tender to construction support.
• Carry out design calculations and briefs within budgets and timelines.
• Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and project management.
• Handle scheduling, estimating, and report preparation.
• Solve complex design challenges and deliver compliant solutions.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers.
• Maintain and grow technical knowledge in fire protection.
