Job summary

Arup Australia is seeking a Fire Engineer to deliver high-quality fire safety designs across a range of complex projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop practical design solutions, and manage projects from concept through to completion.

The role requires expertise in fire engineering analysis including CFD/FDS modelling, strong client communication, and the ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree in Fire Engineering or similar is required.
• Experience in fire engineering analysis and design within a consulting environment preferred.
• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality fire engineering input on diverse projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders for coordinated designs.
• Manage projects autonomously, ensuring delivery within timelines and budget.
• Prepare and review technical reports, analyses, and documentation to high standards.
• Support business development through fee proposals and client relationship building.
