Job summary

Talent Web Property is seeking a Senior Fire & Hydraulics Engineer to lead design on major projects in Brisbane. You will own technical direction, review complex fire and hydraulic solutions, and act as the principal technical advisor to clients and project teams.

You will mentor junior engineers and help set engineering standards, with a clear path for influencing team direction and project outcomes in a well-established building services consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (fire, hydraulic, mechanical or similar).
• Senior experience in fire and/or hydraulic services design within a consultancy.
• Deep technical knowledge and the confidence to back your judgement.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire and hydraulic services design on projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct peer reviews and independent assessments of fire engineering designs and performance solutions.
• Act as the trusted subject matter expert for clients, architects and project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and help shape the team's technical standards.
