Job summary

NCS Group Australia is seeking an experienced Senior FinOps Practitioner to join our Cloud & Digital Practice. This client-facing role focuses on delivering FinOps advisory, cloud financial management, governance, and cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The successful candidate will work with enterprise customers to optimize cloud investments, improve financial accountability, enhance FinOps maturity, and support business growth through consulting and pre-sales engagements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in FinOps, Cloud Consulting, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP billing models.
• Experience presenting executive-level reviews (MBR/QBR) and managing enterprise cloud portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FinOps consulting across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive governance.
• Develop FinOps strategies and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Lead pre-sales activities including discovery workshops and proposals.
• Provide executive reporting, dashboards, and cost analytics.
• Support migrations to governance tools and cloud cost management platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, delivery teams, and customer success managers to drive measurable outcomes.
