NCS Australia is seeking an experienced Senior FinOps Practitioner to join our Cloud & Digital Practice. This customer-facing consulting role focuses on delivering FinOps advisory, cloud financial management, governance, and cost optimisation services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The successful candidate will work with enterprise customers to optimise cloud investments, improve financial accountability, enhance FinOps maturity, and support business growth through
Qualifications
- Significant years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Consulting, and cloud financial governance.
- Experience with multi-cloud cost optimization and governance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills for executive-level reviews and workshops.
Responsibilities
- Deliver FinOps consulting and cost management services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Conduct cloud financial assessments and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Develop FinOps strategies, governance frameworks, and roadmaps.
- Lead cost optimisation initiatives including reservations, savings plans, and lifecycle management.
- Provide executive reporting, dashboards, and governance metrics.
- Support pre‑sales activities from discovery to SOW development.
- Collaborate with architects, delivery teams, and account managers to drive outcomes.
