Isaac Regional Council invites applications for a permanent full-time Senior Systems Accountant in the Corporates Services Directorate, based in the Isaac Region. You will manage Council’s financial software systems to support high-quality financial advice, planning, budgeting, reporting and business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in accounting, financial management and financial systems administration.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, legislation and contemporary financial management practices.
• Experience managing and enhancing enterprise financial software systems (Technology One).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify opportunities for business improvement and system efficiencies.
• Ability to scope, design and generate reports supporting operational, strategic and statutory reporting requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in data analysis and providing financial and systems advice for informed decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.
• Hold a current Driver Licence.
• Tertiary qualifications with eligibility for CPA or CA membership.
