NSW Telco Authority seeks a Senior Analyst Financial Reporting to drive financial insights and reporting for the Asset Refresh Program, a statewide investment in renewing critical telecommunications infrastructure. Join the Program Delivery Finance team to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting and analytics that support governance, decision-making and the stewardship of public resources.

You will prepare reports, advise on financial management, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Distinguishing professional qualification with an accounting body such as CPA Australia or CAANZ.
• Demonstrate minimum five (5) years experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering accurate financial reports, forecasts, budgets and management insights for the Asset Refresh Program.
• Monitoring program expenditure, analyse financial performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining reporting tools, dashboards and financial models to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Providing expert financial advice to program and business stakeholders on financial management matters.
• Supporting compliance with accounting standards, NSW Treasury requirements and internal financial controls.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes and systems.
• Work with various stakeholders including program delivery management, project management office, commercial and finance peers.
