Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service seeks a Senior Analyst Financial Reporting to deliver accurate financial reporting and insights for the Asset Refresh Program. Based in the Finance team within NSW Telco Authority, you will develop budgets, forecasts and financial models, monitor expenditure, and provide expert financial advice to project

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA Australia or CAANZ).
• Minimum five years experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, budgets and management insights for the Asset Refresh Program.
• Monitor program expenditure, analyse financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards and financial models for evidence-based decision-making.
• Provide expert financial advice to program and business stakeholders on financial management matters.
• Support compliance with accounting standards, NSW Treasury requirements and internal controls.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including program delivery management and finance peers.
