Remitly is seeking a seasoned financial crime investigator to own end-to-end casework on serious cases, develop detection logic from typologies, and oversee how detection performs in global operations. You will work with investigators, law enforcement, and regional partners to deliver defensible outcomes.

You will bring 7+ years of investigative experience, strong OSINT, and hands-on data analysis with SQL, shaping high-risk typologies into practical monitoring rules and evidence-based

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial crime investigations or related fields.
• Strong depth in high risk typologies and red flags.
• Ability to build a case from ambiguous facts and document defensibly.
• Hands-on data analysis; write SQL and analyze large data sets.
• Experience assessing others' work and influencing improvements without direct authority.
• Strong OSINT and public records research skills.
• Clear, economical writing for senior stakeholders.
• Experience interacting with law enforcement or regulatory bodies.
• Sound judgment with sensitive material.

Responsabilités

• Casework on complex, high severity, and novel financial crime cases end to end.
• Run proactive investigations and develop typologies into detection logic.
• Oversee detection performance in global operations and ensure proper outcomes.
• Provide SME direction to investigators and engage with external partners.
