Job summary

MyState is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to join our team in Brisbane, Bundaberg or Hobart. You will be on the frontline of detecting and investigating financial crime risk, analysing customer behaviour and applying evidence-based decisions that protect our customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crime, fraud, investigations, AML/CTF or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
• Transferable investigative, analytical or intelligence-gathering skills are valued.
• Ability to balance customer outcomes with regulatory obligations and risk considerations.

Responsibilities

• Detect, assess and investigate financial crime risk.
• Analyse customer behaviour and identify unusual activity.
• Review complex transactional activity and escalate matters for further investigation.
• Collaborate with fraud, due diligence, monitoring and investigations teams.
