Senior Financial Controller — Registered Club

Job summary

Frontline Recruitment is partnering with an established registered RSL Club in New South Wales to appoint an experienced Financial Controller who will own the finance function and sit on the senior leadership team.

You will manage a full finance operation across accounting, payroll, AP/AR, ensure strong controls and reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting, and oversee external audits and taxation, with a view to acquisition activity.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience leading a finance function end-to-end.
• Experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Strong governance, internal controls and audit liaison capabilities.
• Experience in multi-site or multi-revenue organisations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Club’s finance function and team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and Board reports.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flow and long-term planning.
• Provide commercial analysis to guide decision making.
• Coordinate external audits and taxation requirements.
• Support due diligence during acquisitions or amalgamations.
