Job summary

Amentum is seeking a level 3 Financial Analyst to support an Australian program in the Outback, onsite in Alice Springs. You will prepare and present financial reports, manage cost centers, and interact with end-customers in a classified environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive accounting/finance experience in government contracting, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with FAR, GAAP and cost accounting systems. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Six years of accounting/finance experience.
Experience in government contracting (CPFF, FFP, T&M).
Knowledge of FAR and government accounting practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSRs) and other financial reports for Government review.
Develop cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
Submit invoices and monitor billing status and DSO.
Analyze budgets and schedules across multiple projects.
Contribute to project forecast meetings and long-range planning.
Maintain cost tracking and process transfers as needed.
Coordinate with government agencies to ensure contract compliance.
Contribute to Estimates at Complete (EACs).
Ensure adherence to FAR, GAAP, and CAS requirements.
