Job summary

Enemix Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for ANZ based in Sydney. This broad, hands-on role covers multi-entity and joint venture accounting, delivering accurate statutory reporting and robust controls across Australia and New Zealand.

You will manage month-end close, balance sheet governance, inventory, working capital and regulatory reporting, while driving simplification and automation in finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification completed or in progress.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system and strong Excel capability.
• Experience in a complex or multinational organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate audit deliverables, supporting schedules and responses to external auditor queries.
• Complete assigned month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities, including journals, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and supporting analyses.
• Review results for completeness and accuracy, investigate unusual movements and provide variance commentary.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items; support remediation of control issues.
• Review inventory movements and related valuation adjustments, provisions and stocktake adjustments.
• Monitor receivables, ageing, collections and working capital drivers.
• Conduct customer eligibility assessments, reconciliations and claims for government subsidy reporting.
• Provide practical accounting and control advice; partner with business, shared-services, Tax, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
• Deliver process improvement initiatives to simplify, standardise and automate finance activities.
