BBC Studios ANZ is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead day-to-day financial control, statutory reporting and governance for ANZ operations. You will ensure the integrity of the general ledger and annual statutory accounts, support month-end and year-end close, and partner with the Finance Manager, ANZ.

The role manages reconciliations, oversees outsourced provider activities, payroll and A/R, and drives ICFR and governance improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with reporting, reconciliation, and workflow tools.
• Exposure to large ERP platforms (SAP preferred) and IFRS knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Support and coordinate the ANZ financial close and reporting process with the Finance Manager, ANZ.
• Own the balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely issue resolution and control discipline.
• Manage the outsourced finance provider and payroll processes to support accurate period-end close.
• Support A/R and tax compliance activities across ANZ, including BAS and tax returns.
