UnitingCare is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join the BlueCare Financial Accounting team in Queensland. The role supports hybrid working by agreement and focuses on delivering high-quality financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvements across a large not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• CAANZ/CPA qualification required or equivalent.
• tertiary studies in Accounting or Finance.

Responsabilités

• Support and lead key month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and reporting inputs.
• Assist in the preparation of contractual reporting requirements such as grant acquittals.
• Support key finance activities including BAS, FBT, audits and other statutory reporting obligations.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational leaders to provide trusted financial advice and insights.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Contribute to finance transformation and technology initiatives that support continuous improvement across the organisation
