Job summary

Sharp & Carter, a Sydney-based project-focused business, seeks a Senior Analyst to partner with operations leaders. You’ll own budgeting, month-end and cash flow, and provide robust reporting across projects.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will meet managers monthly to review revenue, costs and margins, lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts, and drive improvements in processes with the offshore team to ensure accurate billing and timely financials.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required or near completion.
• Big4 or Mid-Tier experience preferred.
• Experience in management accounting, commercial finance or business partnering with budgets, forecasts and month-end.

Responsibilities

• Meet project and operations leaders monthly to review revenue, costs, margin and cash on their projects.
• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts, including models and assumptions.
• Run month-end procedures: journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance commentary.
• Manage cash flow, debtors, collections and intercompany balances.
• Oversee offshore support team to ensure billing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Improve reporting and streamline manual processes.
