The role covers financial management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio, monthly reporting, cashflow, and business partnering with senior leaders in property and funds management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversight for the financial management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio.
• Lead a team of 2-3 Senior/Financial Accountants.
• Review monthly management reports and variance/trend analysis.
• Review annual and half-year statutory accounts.
• Cashflow management.
• Business partnering with senior leaders across the business in property, asset, and funds management.
• Assist with tax statements, BAS, and PAYG.
• Review treasury and debt requirements and assist with debt compliance.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, key duties will include:

• Oversight for the financial management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio
• Leading a team of 2-3 Senior/Financial Accountants
• Review of monthly management reports and variance/trend analysis.
• Review of annual and half year statutory accounts
• Cashflow management
• Business partnering with senior leaders across the business in property, asset, and funds management
• Assisting with tax statements, BAS, and PAYG
• Review of treasury and debt requirements and assist with compliance of debt agreements

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years' experience in finance and accounting and be a Finance Manager looking for a step up in their career. Previous experience in the property/funds sector and in leading a team of direct reports is essential. In addition you will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, strong technical accounting knowledge, the ability to deliver meaningful insights, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
