Job summary

Pacific Link Housing is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function across Pacific Link Housing and subsidiaries. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month‑end processes, partnering with the CFO and senior leaders.

You will drive process improvements, strengthen controls, ensure regulatory compliance and provide high‑quality financial insights to support strategic decisions and sustainable growth in a not-for-profit housing organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting and compliance expertise.
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams through change and drive engagement.
• Comfortable working autonomously while partnering with the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Finance Team.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes, audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Manage cashflow reporting, treasury functions and financial controls.
• Support payroll oversight and business continuity across finance functions.
• Drive process improvements, systems enhancement and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with leaders across the business to support informed decision-making.
• Act as delegate for the CFO when required.
