Job summary

Our client in Sydney seeks an experienced FP&A professional to support the CFO and executive team with rigorous financial analysis, forecasting and reporting. You will drive board-level reporting, build models, and translate data into actionable insights to influence strategy and budgeting cycles.

The role requires strong accounting background, senior stakeholder interaction, and deep understanding of financial markets and products.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CIMA qualification required.
• 7+ years’ financial services experience.
• Experience across management accounting, performance reporting, financial modelling and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel modelling capability.
• Confidence working with financial data, forecasts, budgets and commercial drivers.
• Ability to produce clear, high-quality internal and external communications, including reporting for senior audiences.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets and regulatory requirements.
• Superannuation or investments experience preferred.
• Strong analytical judgement and ability to turn complex information into clear, meaningful insights.
• Proactive, questioning mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful candidate must undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work with the business to understand key drivers and align forecasts and budgets with performance trends.
• Support business strategy implementation by identifying success metrics and reporting progress.
• Provide decision support across strategy analysis, cost-benefit analysis, ROI, external market insights, competitor analysis and company-wide projects.
