Job summary

Jemena is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting and financial performance for its TasNetworks partnership in Tasmania. You’ll partner with operational leaders, deliver commercial insights, and influence decision-making to support a major energy contract.

You’ll become a trusted advisor across finance and business leaders, shaping performance and KPIs while supporting a collaborative leadership team in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce or finance.
• Postgraduate qualification (CA or CPA).
• Experience supporting contracts and optimising financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel and data-driven insights using BI/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for key energy contract.

Join us as a Senior Finance Analyst and play a key role in the mobilisation and ongoing success of our TasNetworks partnership. Working closely with operational leaders, you'll provide commercial insights, lead budgeting and forecasting, and help shape the financial performance of a major energy contract.

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge of energy sector, utilities construction and maintenance is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of finance professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex financial matters within a large organisation.
• Ability to identify and articulate key business drivers and KPI measures.
• Demonstrated ability to combine internal and external data to generate meaningful insights.

Qualifications / Certifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Commerce or Finance.
• Postgraduate qualification (CA or CPA).
• Demonstrated ability to support contracts and optimise financial outcomes.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with BI and SAP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to distil insights from large volumes of data.
