Job summary

Jemena is seeking a Finance Automation & Improvement Manager to lead automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives across Finance, Data and Technology. You will deliver practical solutions using Power BI, Databricks and core finance systems to reduce manual effort and strengthen decision-making.

You will build a pipeline of improvement opportunities, partner with stakeholders, mentor a small team and drive benefits realisation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Finance/Commerce/Business/IS degree; CA/CPA advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Finance operations including planning and reporting.
• Experience leading automation, reporting and data solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP, Power BI and S/4HANA is highly regarded.
• Excellent analytical and Excel-based problem solving.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications / Certifications & Experience

• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or Information Systems; CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Finance operations, including planning, forecasting, reporting and performance insights.
• Ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve ways of working.
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering automation, reporting and data solutions to deliver practical business outcomes.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and other business intelligence tools; S/4HANA experience is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills, with a focus on sustainable improvements and data quality.
