NBN Co ltd. is hiring a Senior Field Technician in the Sydney metro area. The role spans service and network operations, involving installation, repair and maintenance for homes and businesses.

You will work in a hybrid schedule, delivering high-quality customer outcomes while supporting broader network infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates have ACMA licensing, a Telecommunications Certificate, and proven autonomy with strong communication skills to provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Autonomous and motivated self-starter with experience across HFC network inside and outside plant.
• ACMA licence preferred, supported by Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

This hybrid role spans across both Service and Network operations, offering a broad range of work across our network infrastructure as well as within our customers' homes and businesses. You'll play a key role in delivering timely , high-quality outcomes while providing an exceptional customer experience.In your day to day work you’ll be the backbone that keeps Australia connected, delivering end-to-end service to homes and businesses across the nation. From installation to repair and maintenance, you’ll see the impact of your work in real time with every satisfied customer. You’ll collaborate with a supportive and inclusive team, with opportunities for coaching, mentorship and career progression at every step.* Successful candidates must be willing and able to participate in a rotating night shift roster.A bit about youTo thrive in this role, you'll be an autonomous and motivated self-starter with extensive experience working across the HFC network, including both inside and outside plant activities. As a Senior Field Technician, you'll also have experience in fibre network assurance, fault finding, and installations. You'll have an appetite for embracing a complex industry while continuing to learn and develop on the job.
