Job summary

nbn is seeking a Senior Field Technician based in the Dubbo Central area to deliver end-to-end service for homes and businesses, from installation to repair. You’ll be autonomous, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work across a dynamic field team, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

Candidates should have an ACMA licence and a Certificate III or IV; copper and fibre experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Possess ACMA licence and a Certificate III or IV.
• Autonomy, self-motivation and customer service focus are essential.
• Experience with copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field work installing, repairing and maintaining network services.
• Provide timely, high-quality customer service across homes and businesses.
• Collaborate within a field service team and contribute to coaching and progression.

We are looking for candidates based in the Dubbo Central area

A bit about your role

As part of a field service team, you’ll discover a diverse and dynamic workplace where no two days are alike. From installation to repair and maintenance, you’ll see the impact of your work in real time with every satisfied customer. You’ll collaborate with a supportive and inclusive team, with opportunities for coaching, mentorship and career progression at every step.

A bit about you

To thrive in this role, you’ll be an autonomous and motivated self-starter, with extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs. You’ll have an appetite to embrace a complex industry while learning and developing on the job, drawing on your dedication, drive, and customer service skills to deliver service with integrity. The ideal candidate will possess an ACMA licence along with a Certificate III or IV qualification. Previous preferred experience would be advantageous; however, it is not a mandatory requirement.
