Job summary

nbn Australia is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join our field service team in Rural QLD. You will install, repair and maintain copper and fibre networks, delivering high-quality service to homes and businesses while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your role requires an autonomous, self-starting attitude, with ACMA licensing (Cert III/IV preferred) and a driver’s license. The position is based from Emerald region with 7am-7pm hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Autonomous, motivated self-starter with extensive experience in copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs.
• ACMA license preferably with Cert III or Cert IV in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end field service across homes and businesses, from installation to repair and maintenance.
• Provide timely, high-quality customer service and support.
• Work with a supportive team, with opportunities for coaching and career progression.

A bit about you

To thrive in this role, you'll be an autonomous and motivated self-starter, with extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs. You'll have an appetite to embrace a complex industry while learning and developing on the job. Ideal candidates for this role will have an ACMA license preferably with a cert 3 or cert 4 in telecommunications and draw on their dedication, drive, and customer service skills to deliver service with integrity and solutions with a smile every day.
