Job summary

Geosurv is seeking an experienced Supervisor/Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for a growing utilities division. You will manage multiple field crews, ensure safe and productive delivery, and work closely with project managers to resource and schedule projects.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong civil construction and utilities experience, with a focus on accountability, structure, and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Delivery Manager, Superintendent or senior supervisor role.
• Strong background in civil construction, utilities or infrastructure field operations.
• Experience leading multiple field crews and operational personnel.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across multiple crews and service streams, ensuring safe, efficient delivery.
• Maintain WHS, quality assurance and equipment compliance across field activities.
• Lead, coach and develop operational leaders and field personnel to foster accountability and high performance.
• Plan workforce and resources with Allocator and Project Managers to meet demand.
• Monitor productivity and equipment utilisation, identifying efficiency improvements.
• Partner with Project Managers to align field activities with project requirements and schedules.
• Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance coordination and asset needs.
