Job summary

Earth AI in Sydney is seeking a Senior Content Creator to lead the company’s content strategy across YouTube, social platforms and the web. Expect hands-on production, filming and storytelling from the field to the executive suite.

You’ll travel to rural and remote operations to capture authentic moments, work with CEO/COO, and develop engaging content that translates complex technical work into compelling narratives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience in content creation, digital media, social media, videography, journalism or a similar field.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video and digital content.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong video production skills, including filming, lighting, audio and editing.
• Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
• Experience creating content specifically for YouTube and short-form social platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, audiences and content formats.
• Experience with photography and visual storytelling.
• Ability to interview people confidently and draw out compelling stories.
• Ability to independently take a project from concept through production and publication.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and opportunities can change quickly.
• Willingness and ability to regularly travel to rural and remote locations.
• Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with technical and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Earth AI's content strategy across YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Find and tell the stories at the heart of Earth AI, bringing our technology, discoveries, people and purpose to life.
• Develop original content concepts that make complex technical subjects accessible, interesting and engaging.
• Produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content from concept through to final publication.
• Film Earth AI's exploration, drilling, engineering and field operations across Australia.
• Interview employees, executives, technical specialists and other stakeholders.
• Work directly with the CEO and COO to develop executive and company content.
• Write scripts, social copy, video concepts, captions and other digital content.
• Capture high-quality photography and video content in both office and remote field environments.
• Edit video and photography to a professional standard.
• Develop and maintain a consistent and recognisable Earth AI brand voice.
• Manage the content calendar and coordinate content production across the organisation.
• Identify emerging stories, trends and opportunities rather than waiting for content to be assigned.
• Monitor content performance and use analytics to continuously improve reach, engagement and quality.
• Stay current with platform trends, formats and changes across social and digital media.
• Maintain an organised library of footage, photography and other creative assets.
