Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre in Warrnambool is seeking an experienced Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for adults, young people, children and families affected by family violence. You will deliver a client-centred response and establish critical community connections.

You'll support the Specialist Family Violence Team Leader, mentor Case Management staff, and ensure services meet funding requirements while maintaining trauma-informed practice and strong

Qualifications

• Degree or above qualification in social work, psychology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience post qualification.
• Demonstrated engagement and assessment skills with people affected by family violence.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for intake of adults, young people, children and families affected by family violence.
• Establish community contacts and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
• Support and mentor the Case Management team to ensure high quality service provision.
