Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is seeking a Family Violence Case Manager to support women and children experiencing family violence from our Geelong office. The role focuses on risk assessment, safety planning and addressing broader client needs within a collaborative team.

You will work autonomously yet as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring compassionate, client-centered service and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate or post graduate qualification in psychology, social work or related discipline.
• Experience in family violence or trauma-informed practice is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to women and children experiencing family violence, with emphasis on safety and wellbeing.
• Continuously assess client risk and safety, and address additional support needs identified.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
