MTC FutureReady is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Facilities Management Team on a permanent basis in Sydney. You will oversee facilities operations, manage service requests, and act as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring compliance and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities, property, asset or building management within commercial or similar environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing leased properties, service contracts, maintenance programs and contractor performance.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management systems, building maintenance, asset management principles, BMS and essential services.
• Understanding of quality management systems, compliance requirements, policies, procedures and relevant regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently as the senior facilities contact.
• Manage building, asset, equipment and leasehold inspections, ensuring compliance with WHS and industry standards.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance works, contractors and in-house resources to deliver quality outcomes with minimal disruption.
• Manage vendor, supplier and landlord relationships, including sourcing, tendering, contracting and performance management.
• Maintain facilities records, policies, procedures and operational documentation to support effective facility management.
• Oversee facilities management systems and scheduling to ensure planned and reactive works are completed efficiently.
• Promote a positive workplace culture, contribute to WHS initiatives, and support broader facilities management objectives.
