With a diverse property portfolio and a strong focus on continuous improvement, the group offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to make a meaningful impact across a complex, multi-site operation.

Job Description

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Facilities Manager will take ownership of facilities operations, asset management and maintenance strategies across a portfolio of hospitality venues and associated commercial facilities.

This senior leadership position requires a commercially astute and technically capable professional who can balance day-to-day operational requirements with long-term capital planning, compliance and asset performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the facilities management team, providing direction across maintenance operations, contractor management and service delivery.
  • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, workplace safety and operational continuity across all sites.
  • Manage asset registers, capital replacement strategies, annual operating budgets and long-term expenditure forecasts.
  • Lead contractor procurement, tender negotiations and service agreements, driving commercial value, accountability and consistent service standards.
  • Oversee minor capital works, refurbishment projects and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting operational efficiency, sustainability and asset longevity.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced facilities management professional with a strong technical foundation, proven leadership capability and the commercial acumen to manage a diverse property portfolio.

You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, engaging with senior stakeholders and leading teams to deliver safe, efficient and commercially sustainable outcomes.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in senior facilities management, ideally within hospitality, retail, commercial property or similarly complex operating environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site facilities, preventative maintenance programs, compliance obligations and capital replacement planning.
  • Strong financial management capabilities, including budget preparation, cost control, procurement and contractor negotiations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams, improve processes and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of building services, workplace health and safety, contractor compliance and asset management systems. A relevant trade qualification or tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
Offer

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established hospitality group in a senior operational leadership role with genuine influence over facilities performance and long-term asset strategy.
