Job summary

University of Southern Queensland’s Facilities Management team seeks a Senior Projects Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver capital and minor works across campuses in Toowoomba and Ipswich. You’ll unite people, priorities and technical expertise to create safe, functional, future-ready facilities for the University community.

You’ll drive project lifecycle activities, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Qualifications

• Organised and collaborative project professional with ability to manage complex requirements.
• Experience coordinating capital works or facilities projects within a complex organisational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship skills with commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and communicate clear, timely updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to external project teams; and
• Support the successful completion and transition of projects to operational teams.
