Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering (structural, civil) or architecture.
• Experience in façade/structural or related building engineering disciplines.
• Experience delivering complex façade projects (curtain wall, glazing, cladding).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with programme, budget and quality targets.
• Façade concept design to construction-phase support.
• Technical leadership on projects; mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of façade performance, weatherproofing and durability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• A collaborative mindset to achieve high client standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee façade and structural design services (concept, detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications, construction phase support).
• Manage complex projects to ensure efficient, profitable, high-quality delivery; lead technical strategy, resourcing, risk and consultant coordination.
• Financial management of projects via budgeting, cost control, invoicing oversight and debtor follow-up.
• Coordinate with BMU, Building Physics/ESD, Acoustics, Logistics, Remedial and Lighting to achieve integrated outcomes.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations; manage client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a safe, high-performing team culture.
