Job summary

SW Accountants & Advisors seeks a Senior Consultant to lead external audit engagements, from planning through finalisation, and to mentor junior staff. You will review work, maintain client relationships, and support training and presentations for clients and internal teams.

You will contribute to delivering high-quality financial statements and management letters while meeting deadlines across a diverse client base in Australia.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree and be near to qualifying or fully qualified as CA/CPA.
• Minimum 3 years’ audit experience in a Chartered/CPA practice.
• Proven ability to mentor and review junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit files from planning to finalisation for diverse clients.
• Manage audits within budget and deadlines.
• Explain data flows and controls to staff; document weaknesses.
• Review junior staff work and sign off manager/partner points.
• Prepare management letters, correspondence and client reports.
• Lead and mentor the audit team; support internal/external training.
