Azooa is preparing a response and seeking a suitably qualified Lead ETL Developer to support Defence’s CapabilityOne platform. This opportunity suits an experienced data professional who enjoys improving data pipelines, dimensional models and reporting within a multidisciplinary team.
CapabilityOne supports information management and decision-making across the One Defence Capability System. The Directorate of Portfolio Performance Measurement within the Investment Portfolio Management Branch sustains and enhances the platform.
You will contribute to CapabilityOne’s sustainment, enhancement and renewal, supporting business intelligence, reporting and continuous improvement. The branch provides independent analysis and advice to support Defence investment decisions and delivery of a more capable Australian Defence Force.
The SOW identifies Data Engineering / Data Management (DENG / DATM), SFIA Level 4. The work order lists DATM Level 4.
SQL Server ETL development experience is preferred under the RFQ.
These four additional technologies are Azooa preferences, not specified mandatory requirements in the supplied RFQ.
The SOW specifies a minimum NV1 clearance. The work order also refers to the ability to obtain and maintain NV1. Please confirm your current clearance level and status so Azooa can assess suitability and clarify any clearance conditions before submission.
The initial engagement ends on 30 June 2027, with commencement subject to work order execution. Three discretionary 12-month extension options are available.
The Azooa Contracts Team’s recommended value-for-money position is AUD $141.82 per hour including superannuation.
Azooa is accepting higher rates on a case-by-case basis, taking into account relevant experience, specialist skills, security clearance and alignment with the role.
