Job summary

Azooa Pty Ltd in Canberra, ACT, seeks a Lead ETL Developer to support Defence CapabilityOne. This on-site contract role focuses on sustaining and enhancing data pipelines, dimensional modelling and reporting within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to BI, reporting and continuous improvement, aligning with Commonwealth ICT standards and security requirements while working under NV1 clearance conditions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of ETL development experience.
• Experience working in Defence or another Commonwealth department.
• Capability across data pipelines, dimensional modelling, ETL testing, script automation and code fixes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver timely outcomes.
• Ability to work fully on-site at Russell Offices, Canberra.
• Ability to meet and maintain the engagement’s security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop code for data pipeline enhancements.
• Undertake dimensional modelling for business intelligence and reporting.
• Perform ETL testing and resolve defects.
• Develop and maintain script automation.
• Deliver code fixes supporting CapabilityOne reports.
• Prioritise competing demands, dependencies and organisational priorities.
• Deliver timely outcomes and identify process improvements.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to meet ongoing reporting demand.
• Deliver solutions compatible with the Commonwealth ICT environment and aligned with its architecture, standards and security requirements.
• Support service quality through outcomes aligned with ITIL v3.0.
