Job summary

ACCIONA is a leading global developer of regenerative infrastructure with a focus on sustainable solutions in Australia and New Zealand. We seek a Senior Estimator to lead estimating for large, complex bids for water and wastewater plants, desalination facilities, and pumping stations.

You will head the estimating team, develop first-principles cost models for mechanical and electrical systems, quantify risk, and shape pricing strategy across the bid lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading estimates and bids on complex projects.
• Record of leading water, wastewater or desalination bids.
• First principles estimating of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Expertise in pumps, power distribution and SCADA estimating.
• Experience pricing installation, testing and commissioning works.

About ACCIONA

About the Opportunity

As Senior Estimator, you will lead estimating for ACCIONA Agua's large, complex infrastructure bids, reporting to the General Manager, Business Development. This national role focuses mainly on tenders for water and wastewater treatment plants, desalination facilities and pumping stations. You will lead the estimating team, estimate mechanical and electrical systems, and quantify risk and contingency. You will present estimates to senior management and clients, and shape pricing strategy across the full bid lifecycle. You will also train the team in first principles estimating.
