Laing O’Rourke in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Estimator to drive accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for major projects. You will monitor market pricing, apply innovative construction methods, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver competitive bids.

The role offers leadership of an estimators team and a focus on safe, compliant project delivery. Applicants should have advanced construction experience, relevant qualifications, and proficiency with COINS, Site Manager and Team

Qualifications

• Advanced construction experience required.
• Proven ability to lead estimators and cross-functional teams.
• Strong capability in cost estimation, tender submissions and risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender submissions for major projects.
• Monitor market pricing, industry trends and innovative construction methodologies to support competitive bids.
• Provide technical estimating expertise and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality estimates.
• Lead, mentor and develop estimators and support team members to build capability and performance.
• Support project handover with clear commercial documentation and cost information to delivery teams.
• Assist with Bill of Quantities allocation and cost planning to support effective project controls.
• Promote and maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and wellbeing requirements across all activities.
