Job summary

Acumentis ESG is seeking an Associate Director to lead AASB S2 climate disclosures for multiple clients. You will be the primary contact for clients and their assurance providers, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to standards.

You will manage workstreams across governance, risk and metrics, build robust evidence and audit trails, and guide teams to quality outcomes with commercial awareness throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sustainability reporting, climate risk or sustainability assurance, including time in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
• Hands-on experience with limited or reasonable assurance over sustainability or climate disclosures (ASSA 5010/ISAE 3000).
• Strong knowledge of AASB S2, Corporations Act sustainability reporting requirements, ISSB and TCFD frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead AASB S2 climate disclosure engagements from scoping to board adoption.
• Be the main client contact and liaison with assurance providers.
• Build evidence files, judgement logs and audit trails for timely delivery.
• Coordinate multi-workstreams across governance, risk and metrics.
• Support proposals, scoping and fee estimates; help recruit and onboard new clients.
• Ensure accuracy against standards and drive quality improvements.
