Job summary

Acumentis ESG in Brisbane is seeking an Associate Director, ESG to lead AASB S2 climate disclosures, coordinating with clients, assurance providers and third parties. You will translate complex requirements into clear guidance for CFOs, board members and operations teams.

This delivery role blends technical expertise in climate risk, scenario analysis and emissions accounting with leadership of multi-workstream engagements and revenue responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sustainability reporting or climate risk, including time in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm.
• Hands-on experience with limited or reasonable assurance over sustainability or climate disclosures (ASSA 5010, ASSA 5000 or ISAE 3000).
• Detailed working knowledge of AASB S2, the Corporations Act sustainability reporting requirements, and ISSB/TCFD frameworks behind them.
• Sound grasp of greenhouse gas accounting (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), scenario analysis, and physical and transition risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead AASB S2 and ASRS engagements from scoping through to board adoption.
• Own plans, timelines, budgets and resourcing, and land work on time and on fee.
• Run workstreams across governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets.
• Coordinate partners such as emissions data providers and fold their outputs into the disclosure.
• Be the main contact between clients and their assurance providers under ASSA 5010 and ASSA 5000.
