Job summary

Fluor Australia in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our client’s Adelaide-based team, supporting the delivery of a major EPCM project. You will manage contracts, support procurement, lead commercial negotiations, and mitigate project risks across multiple scopes.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years’ experience managing contracts on large EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to write clear, structured commercial and contractual documents.
• Proven experience managing tenders, bids, and proposals.
• Solid understanding of commercial, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working closely with engineering and delivery teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree Qualified - Business/Engineering or Law (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on delivery of medium to large contracts and project packages.
• Prepare, write, and review contractual and commercial documentation.
• Manage tender and bid processes from start to finish.
• Work closely with Engineers and Project teams to prepare accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement contract and negotiation strategies.
• Manage budgets, variations, claims, and contract risk directly.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Support client engagement and commercial negotiations as required.
