Job summary

Primero Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead major EPC/EPCM mining projects across Australia. You will oversee all phases from tendering and design through procurement, construction and commissioning, while engaging clients and stakeholders to protect the company’s reputation.

You will bring proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, strong commercial acumen, and a relentless commitment to safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Experience at Project Director level leading multidisciplinary teams in mining projects.
Experience leading Major EPC/EPCM or Construct Only projects in mining.
Experience in Gold/Copper projects and FEED/Study management.
Strong commitment to safe project delivery and execution.

Responsibilities

Manage time and cost related to the project outcomes.
Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects.
Complete execution from inception to practical completion.
Meet all role-specific HSE responsibilities under Primero HSW system.
Day-to-day management of budgets, resources and staffing.
Provide guidance on procurement and subcontracting strategies.
Manage key stakeholder relationships for alignment and outcomes.
Implement governance and reporting frameworks with clear performance visibility.
