Job summary

BMD Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental management across a major Adelaide infrastructure opportunity. The role focuses on integrating environmental obligations with complex construction delivery across industrial facilities, waterfront works and civil packages.

You will develop plans, manage risks, support approvals, and engage with stakeholders to deliver compliant, sustainable outcomes for the project.

Qualifications

• Significant environmental experience across major Australian construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience implementing Construction Environmental Management Plans and environmental controls.
• Strong understanding of Australian environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated capability managing environmental risk in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing environmental plans, systems and controls.
• Managing environmental risks across multiple construction work fronts.
• Supporting environmental approvals, compliance and assurance.
• Overseeing monitoring, reporting and environmental performance.
• Engaging effectively with project stakeholders, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Supporting environmental incident management and continuous improvement.
